The owners of NFL knew about concussions, but they didn't inform the players about it. After the players retired, they started to feel the long term affects of a concussion. Jim McMahon had 3 reported concussions while he was playing, he might have gotten more unrecorded concussions. He now has a very limited short-term memory. His loss of short term memory is affecting him, his girlfriend, and his friends.
